A Cry For Help: Refugees Living In Rwamwanja Face Desperate Times

There is a heartbreaking scene that has been developing in the Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement. The aid that was once flowing in has slowed to a trickle, leaving many refugees without the basic necessities to survive. The situation has become dire, and the impact on the community is palpable.

I Can’t Just ‘Turn My Back’ On These People

Despite the challenges, we’re seeing glimmers of hope. Some refugees are coming together to support one another, sharing what little they have – and finding strength in their community. We’re working with local leaders to identify the most vulnerable individuals and provide them with targeted support.

But We’re Not ‘Out Of The Woods’ Yet

There is so much more that needs to be done. We urge the international community to take notice of the situation in Rwamwanja and provide the necessary support to those in need. The refugees here are not just statistics or news headlines; they’re human beings deserving of dignity, respect, and compassion.
